KYW Newsradio Private Equity Panel

Radnor, PA – March 27, 2007– NewSpring Capital’s Michael DiPiano was selected to host and moderate a private equity panel, Funding the Future: Private Equity and Your Company’s Next Step, sponsored by KYW Newsradio and the law firm of White & Williams LLP. The sold out event was designed to educate local entrepreneurs and business executives on the role of private equity, growth capital and its growing presence in the marketplace.  According to PricewaterhouseCoopers/NVCA MoneyTree reports, companies in the Philadelphia metro region alone received over $1.2 billion in private equity funding between 2005-2006.  Panel members included Andrew Greenburg of Fairmount Partners, Seth Lehr of LLR Partners, John Pauciulo of White & Williams and David Proctor of Wind River Holdings.  DiPiano and the panel enjoyed an interactive discussion with an audience of nearly 300 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Center City Philadelphia.  Topics of discussion included the investment process, deal structures, lending trends as well as the history of private equity.
