NewSpring Capital Supports Transcend United Technologies, LLC's Acquisition of LiquidSpoke, Inc.

RADNOR, PA, - June 3,2011-NewSpring Capital, a family of private equity funds providing growth and expansion capital to the Mid-Atlantic region, announced today that NewSpring Mezzanine Capital supported Transcend United Technologies, LLC ("Transcend United"), an existing portfolio company, in the acquisition of LiquidSpoke, Inc. ("LiquidSpoke") in the form of subordinated debt financing and equity.

Transcend United, one of the nation's fastest growing technology resellers, significantly grows its scale and ability to serve markets in the Northeast and adds significant capabilities to the Company's Managed Services practice with the addition of LiquidSpoke. The Company offers advanced capabilities working with Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, ShoreTel, Riverbed, LifeSize and other core infrastructure vendors, and becomes one of the largest technology resellers in North America.
