NewSpring Capital Announces the Addition of Jonathan S. Schwartz to Its Team

King of Prussia, PA, April, 2004 - NewSpring Capital, a private equity organization, announced today that Jonathan S. Schwartz has now joined the firm as its Chief Financial Officer.
"We are delighted to have Jon join the NewSpring Team,” said Mike DiPiano, Managing Partner of NewSpring Capital, “Jon is a seasoned financial executive with deep venture industry experience. Jon will be a valuable asset to the Family of Funds."
Jon’s role will be to oversee the financial and operational infrastructure of NewSpring Capital and its Family of Funds, including financial reporting and investor relations. In addition, Jon will support the deal teams in due diligence on prospective transactions and provide an additional value-added resource to the Family’s portfolio companies.
Jon is a CPA with over 13 years of experience working with private equity, investment banking and other asset management organizations. Prior to joining NewSpring, he was Director of Finance and Administration at EnerTech Capital, a $300 million venture capital firm. Previously he was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young, where he provided accounting and business advisory services to clients in the financial services industry. Jon is a graduate of Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The New York State Society of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.
